Danielle & Marlon’s Black Tie Wedding Reception at Fetcham Park
The 21st March signifies not only the start of Spring, but also the anniversary of one of the coolest couples we’ve been lucky enough to work with here at Fetcham Park. As soon as we saw Eddie Judd’s engagement shoot with this pair, we knew that we were in for a sophisticated and stylish evening. We welcomed Danielle and Marlon to the house the day after they had already enjoyed an intimate ceremony with their closest loved ones at Chelsea Registry Office, allowing the newlyweds to host a spectacular party for all of their friends and family members.
Speaking to wedding blog Rock My Wedding, Danielle explained: “We always knew that we wanted a small and intimate wedding, but also wanted all of our friends and family to feel involved in the celebration. So we decided to have a small wedding for our family and close friends followed by a big black tie party the following evening, where all the traditional parts of a wedding (first dance, cake cutting, and throwing of the bouquet) could be enjoyed by everybody and we could then really let our hair down after the emotion of the big day.”
Well, with music from Melisma, a casino table set up in the Salon and Matt Maurice on the DJ decks, Danielle and Marlon certainly made the most of the house and ensured that their guests celebrated in style with them. In order to maintain the party atmosphere, At Home catering provided informal but exquisite canapés and bowl food throughout the evening and followed up with a feasting table in the Salon to provide more sustenance amidst the dancing!
“At Home are a company we have used as a family many times over the years and they don’t come cheap, but in my option are worth every penny,” Danielle said. “Not only is the food exceptionally delicious and beautifully presented, but the team is fantastic – nothing is too much trouble and Amaury in particular kept everything running like clockwork which meant I could totally relax and enjoy the evening.”
You will, undoubtedly, be equally as in love with Danielle’s stunning Alexander McQueen dress as we were, proving that bridal style can be whatever you want it to be. We’ve previously talked at length about the benefits of a black tie wedding celebration and that is thanks in no small part to the very stylish precedent set by Danielle and Marlon!
We’d like to offer our very best wishes to the newlyweds who not only celebrated their second wedding anniversary this weekend, but have also recently welcomed a new addition to their family too! We hope you love looking back at these images as much as we enjoyed having you here at Fetcham Park.
