EVENT | Candlelit Carol Service at St. Mary’s with Reception at Fetcham Park

St. Mary’s Church is hosting a Carol Service on Thursday 14th December at 6:30pm working together with their neighbours from Fetcham Park who will host drinks after the service.

Originally established in 1999, the festive event brings together local business people and residents to celebrate at the start of the Christmas season. This year the beneficiary will be Fetcham-based charity Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey which has been supporting people in Surrey who are blind, vision impaired, Deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing since 1922. They aim to help people to overcome their day-to-day challenges and lead an independent life, providing individuals and their families with specialist hands-on practical support, tailored to their needs. This year, the retiring collection will be donated to Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey.

The service will be led by Bishop of Dorking, The Rt Revd Paul Davies, in St Mary’s Church with readings by Clare Burgess, director at Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey, together with Trustee Mary Da Silva Skinner, Sarah McKay member of the St Mary’s Ministry team, Sarah Gyngell member of Fetcham Residents Association, and Rod Shaw and Julie Spalding from Mole Valley District Council.

After the service the congregation are invited to Fetcham Park for refreshments.

Everyone is welcome, and if you would like a map emailed to indicate the parking options please email administration@fetchampark.co.uk
